This little gem was our first reinforcement that the people of Gossamer weren’t very welcoming of Mora. Four punks, wandering the roads outside the city, catch up to Mora and try to wrestle her down since it would be highly unlikely anyone would miss a prostitute. And Mora doesn’t like any of their little assumptions. She attacks the first punk who touches her, leaving the audience in suspense.

I had always wondered how “phonetic” I should be with thug characters. Should I really pronounce their slang? Like, “Wut’s up wit dat?” or just leave it to the imagination? I figure small nuances like a ‘ instead of and ending g would be enough at times.

Chalo also added the small “Not Today” at the end, which inspired one of the strangest forum posts I had ever seen. One reader asked if she actually was a prostitute and she just wasn’t in the mood today. Blew my mind.

At this time I was becoming a bit more active as a LL fan in giving critique to the comic. At this point I was drawing a parallel to normal anime hentai. In many some of course, the dominant partner starts out raping a girl but in the end it turns out that she enjoys it. No I wasn't serious in thinking that's where this comic would end up, I just like to make fun of things.
