I remember when we made this comic. We were in receiving the most caution from our friends and the most hate mail from our enemies. Mora was just shown pseudo exposed in her bathtub, and now has plans to just go ‘get’ some men in a very tiny outfit. I could say that I had failed to make it clear that she had no intent to really have sex with them, but I was kind of hoping to keep that ambiguous.

Mora is supposed to have a condescending attitude toward the general willpower and intelligence of men. We knew the audience would interpret that she was going to use that wee outfit to allure people back home. But we didn’t expect the general outrage that came back at us from people who thought she was going to have intercourse with them in front of a live audience.

That outfit became known as “The Manhunter Clothes” between Chalo and I. And they still remind me of a sixteen something’s typical school outfit that she dug out of the closet to show off her victory over aging. We will probably re-use these clothes later, just not sure when.
